“South Park” meets “Yojimbo” as directed by “Kill Bill”-era Quentin Tarantino? If that all sounds a bit mad, well, rest assured — it is. “Path of Blood” is an animated film made entirely by director Eric Power using simple paper cut-outs to create a fantastically violent chambara (samurai swordplay) tale. The single-minded devotion needed to create this is impressive, but all the cartoon splatter can make it feel as though you’re watching a video game.
