To commemorate the 20th anniversary of the Kiyosato Museum of Photographic Arts, which is known for its support of young photographers, the Tokyo Metropolitan Museum of Photography is presenting a number of works from the Yamanashi Prefecture museum's collection.

The Kiyasoto Museum of Photographic Arts allows artists to submit their work as many times as they like, with the museum having bought 106,224 works by 9,191 artists from 75 countries. This exhibition showcases both young and veteran photographers' works selected from the 5,296 most recently purchased.

Also on display are photographs by members of the museum's selection committee, such as Daido Moriyama, Nobuyoshi Araki and Hiromi Tsuchida; Aug. 9-24.
