"Kaeru" — the Japanese word for "to change, return, exchange" that can also mean "to be able to purchase" — is the central theme of artist Hiroshi Fuji's solo exhibition, "Central Kaeru Sation."

Fuji's work brings together more than 50,000 toys collected over 13 years of Kaekko, a toy-exchange system that started in Japan in 1999. Since its induction, more than 5,000 events have taken place at over 1,000 sites across Japan and internationally.

This is an exhibition that can be enjoyed by all, from children to senior citizens. There's plenty to see, think about, discover and experience, and it makes a perfect summer-holiday outing; July 15 to Sept. 9.
