Director: Oxide Pang Chun and Danny Pang
Language: English
The first feature made in the U.S. by the Hong Kong-based Pang brothers ("The Eye") is a rehash of Japanese horror flicks ("The Ring" and "The Grudge") with a touch of Hollywood flavor. Soon after the Solomon family moves into a haunted farmhouse in rural North Dakota, their toddler Ben (Evan Turner) and teenage daughter Jess (Kristen Stewart) start to see apparitions. Their parents don't take them seriously, until the children fall victim to the supernatural forces. The Pangs are gifted directors, but their Hollywood debut is disappointingly dull.
