Director: Joe Camahan
When Las Vegas magician Buddy “Aces” Israel (Jeremy Piven) decides to testify against a mob boss in return for immunity from prosecution, the gangsters put a $1 million ransom on his head. At the hotel in Lake Tahoe where Aces is staying under FBI protection, celebrity assassins — from Ben Affleck to Alicia Keys — start to arrive, leading to the inevitable series of shootings and mayhem. The non-stop violence may keep viewers awake, but this lame rehash of a Quentin Tarantino/Guy Richie flick seriously lacks imagination.
