Another of Hugh Grant’s rom-coms, this time the English wag tags up with Drew Barrymore, another regular of the genre. Grant plays a washed-up, former member of the band PoP! — a Wham! clone — who has been reduced to performing old hits at amusement parks and school reunions. Grant gets a chance to come back when a teen pop sensation, Cora (Haley Bennett), asks him to submit a love song for her latest album. In comes Drew to the picture, a has-been song writer. As they collaborate together, an attraction develops between the two. A typical Hugh Grant movie, “Music” is moderately entertaining with some funny quips along the way.

In line with COVID-19 guidelines, the government is strongly requesting that residents and visitors exercise caution if they choose to visit bars, restaurants, music venues and other public spaces.
