Tepco suspends Fukushima No. 1 cleanup to probe fatal accidents
Tokyo Electric Power Co. has said it will suspend decommissioning work at the wrecked Fukushima No. 1 power plant until it completes safety checks related to two fatal accidents at its facilities in the prefecture this week.

Cars allowed to use highway section closed by Fukushima nuclear crisis
The government had lifted a vehicle ban on National Route 6 through the area where residency is restricted due to the crippled Fukushima No. 1 plant, the first time that stretch of highway has been open to automobiles since the nuclear crisis began in March 2011.

Tepco to settle 3/11 suit over hospital evacuee's death for ¥13.5 million
Tokyo Electric Power Co. agreed Friday to pay ¥13.5 million to settle a civil lawsuit filed over the death of a woman who was forced to evacuate from a hospital during the March 2011 Fukushima nuclear disaster, a relative of the woman said.
