A cat named Blanco: In my time
Blanco came to ARK as a kitten last June with his siblings. Most of his brothers and sisters were adopted quickly but Blanco got passed over, as he was often too busy sleeping or playing to entertain visitors.

A cat named Harrison: All aboard!

Chicago residents Mari, a Japanese national, and Jonathon, an American, considered adopting from the U.S. or South Korea, but cultural and citizenship concerns sealed their decision to adopt from Japan. A dog named Harp: Music to your ears
The gentle Harp was found abandoned in a hot springs area. Concerned staff from a hotel fed her bread and, eventually, she got up the courage to come nearer and was caught. Luckily her destination was ARK.

The Osaka Family Court has approved the adoption of a 3-year-old boy by a woman in her 30s who changed her sex from male due to gender identity disorder.
