Watabe brothers assigned to Nordic combined individual hill competition
Nordic combined medal hopeful Akito Watabe, his brother Yoshito, Taihei Kato and Hideaki Nagai, will represent Japan in the individual normal hill competition on Wednesday, coach Shuhei Narita said Tuesday.

Spokeswoman Bird to name adopted puppy Sochi
Amanda Bird, the U.S. bobsled and skeleton spokeswoman, is seeking to adopt a puppy from a shelter established by aluminum billionaire Oleg Deripaska in the Russian city hosting the Winter Olympics.
