It was a game he'll never forget.

Guard Kejuan Johnson sparked the Sendai 89ers with 30 points, 10 rebounds and 10 steals in Saturday's 92-81 victory over the visiting Yokohama B-Corsairs.

Johnson, a Long Beach State product, sank 14 of 17 free throws in the series opener in Sendai.

Teammate Fumiya Sato canned 7 of 11 3s en route to a season-high 23 points for the rising 89ers (29-14), who have won seven straight games. Adrian Moss chipped in with 21 points and frontcourt stalwart Jeral Davis had 11 points and six blocks.

Carl Hall had 21 points and 14 boards for Yokohama (11-30), while Wayne Marshall and Warren Niles both scored 14 points.

Lakestars 102, Rizing 87

In Otsu, Shiga Prefecture, Ray Nixon made 6 of 7 3-point attempts and led the hosts with 27 points in a win over Fukuoka.

Jeff Parmer poured in 23 points, Yu Okada had 19 and Terrance Woodbury 18 for the Lakestars (26-15).

For the Rizing (11-32), Cyrus Tate was the high scorer with 19 points, Josh Peppers had 18 and John Humphrey finished with 14 and six assists.

Albirex BB 102, Cinq Reves 78

In Inagi, Niigata's Thomas Kennedy was virtually unstoppable in the series finale against Tokyo, scoring 32 points on 13-for-16 shooting from inside the arc.

The Albirex (29-15) won their third game in a row; the Cinq Reves (5-37) saw their losing streak stretch to eight games.

Patrick Sullivan scored 16 points for the out-of-towners and Albirex big man Stephan Van Treese had 15 points and six blocks. Kimitake Sato poured in 11 points for Niigata.

In addition to his game-high scoring total, Kennedy grabbed nine rebounds and made five steals.

Yuji Ide drained five 3s for Tokyo in a 25-point performance and Zane Knowles contributed 14 points and eight rebounds. Isamu Omori matched Knowles' scoring total. Center Will Foster, the league leader in rebounding (13.5) and co-leader in blocked shots (3.1, tied with Sendai's Davis through Friday), is sidelined with an injury.

Big Bulls 85, Brave Warriors 56

In Ueda, Nagano Prefecture, Lawrence Blackledge's triple-double (10 points, 14 rebounds, 11 assists) helped guide Iwate past Shinshu.

It was Blackledge's second triple-double in the past four games.

Masato Tsukino scored 18 points for the Big Bulls (34-9), Scootie Randall added 16 and Wayne Arnold 10.

Mohamed Abukar paced the Brave Warriors (18-23) with 16 points, while DeVaughn Washington and Patrick Sanders had 13 and 11, respectively.

Evessa 80, Susanoo Magic 77

In Osaka, Josh Dollard's 27-point performance and Gary Hamilton's 20-rebound effort lifted the hosts past Shimane.

Takuya Soma had 16 points and Shota Konno contributed 14 for the Evessa (24-19).

Joe Chapman led the Magic (16-27) with 19 points, Edward Yamamoto scored 18 and Shuichi Takada 16.

Wat's 87, Broncos 62

In Kuroishi, Aomori Prefecture, Paul Williams rang up 20 points, Gordon Klaiber drained five 3s in an 18-point night and the hosts hammered Saitama.

Gyno Pomare added 14 points for Aomori (22-21).

Gary Johnson paced the Broncos (4-37) with 20 points, while Nyika Williams had 16 points and grabbed 12 rebounds.

Saitama shot 2-for-16 from long range.

Firebonds 108, Crane Thunders 78

In Sukagawa, Fukushima Prefecture, balanced scoring carried the hosts to a runaway win over Gunma.

Six Fukushima players reached double figures in points, including Masaya Karimata (24 points, eight assists) and James Hughes (22 points).

The Firebonds improved to 15-28 in their inaugural season.

Andre Murry had 17 points and ex-NBA center Melvin Ely scored 14 for the Crane Thunders (15-26).

Golden Kings 82, HeatDevils 72

In Oita, Narito Namizato had 19 points and rookie sharpshooter Shota Tsuyama scored 17 for the reigning champions.

Tsuyama knocked down 5 of 8 3s.

Anthony McHenry finished with 15 points and 12 rebounds for Ryukyu (36-7), while Anthony Kent swatted four shots.

Demetri McCamey led Oita (15-28) with 25 points, Kellen Thornton added 17 points and 10 boards and Naoto Takushi scored 15 points.

Grouses 91, Northern Happinets 82

In Toyama, Joe Werner had a team-best 27 points and the Grouses defense forced Akita into an uncharacteristicly high 24 turnovers.

Fan favorite Masashi Joho added 17 points and six assists for Toyama (30-13) and Takeshi Mito scored 14.

Deshawn Stephens paced the Happinets (34-9) with 28 points and pulled down 12 rebounds. Richard Roby and Ruben Boykin scored 15 and 13 points, respectively.
