Daiya Seto won the men's 400-meter individual medley and also the 200 butterfly at a short-course World Cup meet on Friday in Singapore.

Seto, who won the bronze medal at the Rio Olympics in the 400 IM, logged 4 minutes, 4.60 seconds to top the podium,

Germany's Philip Heintz finished second in 4:07.08, and Ippei Watanabe took third in 4:08.55.

In the 200 fly, Seto was clocked in 1:49.53. South Africa's Chad Le Clos was the runner-up in 1:50.29. Masato Sakai, who won the silver medal in the 200 butterfly in Rio, was third, completing the race in 1:50.95.
