Ayana Onozuka placed fourth in women's halfpipe in the final freestyle skiing event of the World Cup season on Thursday, good enough to secure her the overall halfpipe "crystal globe" title for the second season in a row.

Onozuka, the Sochi Olympic bronze medalist, topped the overall standings from four events with 290 points.

"Although I missed the podium today I was able to grab the globe again this year so I'm very happy to finish the season like that," Onozuka told fis.com.

"I'm going to work on some new rotations and grabs for the next season and hopefully I'll be able to make it three in a row."

Devin Logan of the United States placed sixth in the event won by compatriot Maddie Bowman and finished second in the overall rankings behind Onozuka with 260 points.
