Sakura Yokomine racked up five birdies against a lone bogey Saturday in the third round of the Women's PGA Championship, moving up to a tie for 10th place at 5-under 214, nine shots off the lead.

Mika Miyazato also gained some ground with a 1-under performance, tying for 22nd place at 2-under 217, while Harukyo Nomura shot 74 and slipped to 1-over 220 for a share of 40th.

The elite field in the season's second major took advantage of the calm, clear weather, with two-time defending champion Park In-bee's blistering 66 putting her in the lead at 14-under 205 and overnight leader Kim Sei-young, also of South Korea, two shots back after firing a 69.
