Gamba Osaka's Japan Under-22 defender Takaharu Nishino is expected to be out of action for three months after fracturing the fifth metatarsal in his left foot, the J League champions announced on Wednesday.
Nishino suffered the injury in Gamba's 2-1 win away to Thailand's Buriram United last week in Group F in the Asian Champions League.
