Fiji kept its Rugby World Cup quarterfinal hopes alive with a thrilling and deserved 22-15 win over Australia, its first win over the Wallabies in 69 years, in Saint Etienne on Sunday.

Man-of-the-match Josua Tuisova scored a second-half try, and scrumhalf Simione Kuruvoli contributed 15 points with the boot as the Flying Fijians bounced back from a narrow Pool C defeat against Wales in their first game.

"I know it's a long time for us, Fiji, since 19...I don't know, back in the day," Tuisova said.
