Bobby Valentine is enjoying life in the “third row.”

Valentine has spent plenty of time in the front row during his baseball career, which began as a player for the Los Angeles Dodgers in 1969. He played in MLB for 10 seasons and spent 16 in the dugout as a manager for three teams.

He managed in Japan with the Chiba Lotte Marines for seven seasons, leading the club to a Japan Series title in 2005.
