Yokohama F Marinos will be missing the J. League’s top scorer for three months after Brazilian forward Edigar Junio underwent surgery in Sao Paolo, the first-division club said Sunday.

Edigar Junio, who has 11 goals in 16 games, suffered a “joint fracture” in his left leg on July 20 in Marinos’ game against Vissel Kobe.
