THE HAGUE – Japan’s Mike Havenaar scored his third goal of the season but his missed penalty forced ADO Den Haag to settle for a 1-1 draw against Heracles in the Dutch top flight on Sunday.
Havenaar cancelled out Robin Gosens’ opener in the 28th minute as he banged home a left-footed volley to the far left-bottom corner inside the box, but failed to convert from the spot 10 minutes from time, when he was too clever by half and his little chip sailed over the bar instead.
