Sagan Tosu have agreed a deal in principle to sign Moroccan forward Moestafa El Kabir, the J. League first-division club announced Friday.
The 27-year-old, who holds a Dutch passport and began his career at NEC Nijmegen in 2008, had stints at Italian side Cagliari and Al Ahli in Saudi Arabia before spending the last year and a half with Genclerbirligi in Turkey.
Sagan, currently 13th in this year’s overall J. League standings with second-lowest goals scored, let midfielder Jumpei Kusukami move to Western Sydney Wanderers on Monday.
