Kei Nishikori has secured his place at the Rio de Janeiro Olympics after the latest world rankings were released on Sunday.

Sixth-ranked Nishikori will be joined in Rio by Misaki Doi, who is 48th in the women's rankings. Nishikori, who reached the quarterfinals at London four years ago, will be heading to his third successive Summer Games, Doi her first.

The top 56 players in the ATP and WTA rankings are eligible. A maximum entry of four singles and two doubles-mixed doubles are allowed per country.
