The Sunwolves will be without Tim Bond for Saturday's Super Rugby game against the Bulls in Singapore after the lock received a one-match suspension.

Bond was cited for charging into a ruck in the 61st minute of the Sunwolves' 35-9 thrashing at the hand of the Rebels in Tokyo on Saturday.

Bond admitted to the offense, which allowed judicial officer Chris Morris to apply a 50 percent reduction to what would have been a two-week ban.

The Sunwolves, Japan's first entry into the Southern Hemisphere competition, have just one bonus point to show from their three games. They are seventh in the eight-team South African Group.
