Tomohiro Inoue booked his Rio de Janeiro Olympic berth in the Greco-Roman 66-kg category on Sunday after reaching the final of the Asian Olympic qualifying tournament.

The 28-year-old edged Kazakhstan's Magomed Chuhalov 2-1 in the semifinals after he defeated Pang Jin Chol of North Korea 4-0 in the previous round.

"It's been my dream to compete in the Olympics and I'm happy," Inoue said. "I was nervous like never before in the first bout. I felt I couldn't stay that way, so I wanted to wrestle as I usually do in the semis."
