The Toyama Grouses dominated in all facets of their weekend series against the host Tokyo Cinq Reves.
Not only did the Grouses crush the Cinq Reves 93-65 on Sunday afternoon in Inagi, they also blasted the hosts by a stunning 63 points a day earlier (see below).
Veteran star Masashi Joho led Toyama (8-4) with 27 points on 11-for-13 shooting, including five 3-pointers, and dished out six assists. Big man Sam Willard finished with 15 points and 13 rebounds and Takeshi Mito matched Willard's scoring output. Duke Crews and Daichi Tanaka both had four steals in the rout.
