Injured Kei Nishikori has been cleared to resume practice for Wimbledon, his management company said on Monday.

Nishikori retired in his Gerry Weber Open semifinal against Andreas Seppi with a calf injury on Saturday in Germany, where he underwent tests.

World No. 5 Nishikori was not diagnosed with anything serious and will start training again on Tuesday. He is already in London recovering for an exhibition match on Friday.

Wimbledon begins next Monday.
