Ai Fukuhara won the women's championship at the ITTF World Tour's Australian Open on Sunday, claiming her first singles title on the tour in two years.
After strolling past South Korean Moon Hyun-jung 11-4, 11-5, 14-12, 11-5 in their semifinal, the 26-year-old Fukuhara came back from a set down to defeat another South Korean, Jeon Ji-hee, 6-11, 11-2, 11-7, 11-5, 11-6 in the final.
