Kibwe Trim notched a double-double and five teammates scored in double figures as the Ryukyu Golden Kings steamrolled the host Rizing Fukuoka 108-79 in their bj-league series opener on Friday.

Reigning champion Ryukyu (38-9 overall, 18-5 on the road) led 60-45 at halftime, then cruised to victory.

Trim finished with 22 points, 11 rebounds and four assists. Draelon Burns added 15 points, including four 3-pointers. Anthony Kent, Anthony McHenry, Shigeyuki Kinjo and Morihisa Yamauchi all scored 12 points apiece.

For Yamauchi, it was his first double-digit scoring game since March 1.

Kinjo, who has played for the Okinawa-based club since its inception in 2007, shot 6 for 8 from the floor.

McHenry added eight rebounds, six assists and two steals, while Ryuichi Kishimoto dished out six assists for the Kings. Narito Namizato chipped in with nine points.

Fukuoka fell to 12-35.

Josh Peppers paced the hosts with 31 points and grabbed eight rebounds. He canned 5 of 10 3s. John "Helicopter" Humphrey added 27 points, and also sank 5 of 10 from long range, and doled out six assists for the Rizing. Kirk Van Slyke scored 10 points and pulled down eight rebounds and Cohey Aoki had six points.
