World No. 5 Kei Nishikori will feature among four Japanese players to face Canada in the Davis Cup's World Group first round tie next month in Vancouver, British Columbia, the Japan Tennis Association said Tuesday.

Go Soeda, Tatsuma Ito and Yasutaka Uchiyama will also appear in the March 6-8 men's team event at Doug Mitchell Thunderbird Sports Center. The two sides will go head-to-head in a repeat of the 2014 first-round clash, when Japan defeated Canada 4-1 to reach the quarterfinals.

The matchup should be a close affair with both sides boasting world's top 10 players in Nishikori and Canada's Milos Raonic, who is at No. 6.

Two singles ties and one doubles tie will be played on each of the first two days before the reverse singles on the final day.
