Keisuke Honda, already fined $5,000 for blasting a referee after Japan's opening 4-0 win against Palestine, has delivered a thinly veiled dig at the Asian Football Confederation — this time for the fixture scheduling at the Asian Cup.

The AC Milan attacker was on target for the third game in a row on Tuesday as holders Japan beat Jordan 2-0 to win Group D and reach the quarterfinals of the tournament with a maximum nine points from three games and no goals conceded.

The Samurai Blue will now face Group C runnerup United Arab Emirates on Friday in the last eight in Sydney and Honda is unhappy that Japan has a day less than its opponents to prepare.
