Overnight leader Aoyama Gakuin University won the 91st running of the Tokyo-Hakone collegiate ekiden on Saturday, earning the school’s first championship in the classic road race.

A day after winning the opening leg for the first time in the school’s history, Aoyama Gakuin clocked 5 hours, 25 minutes, 29 seconds over the final 109.6 km to win the return leg for the first time as well.
