Veteran forward Gary Hamilton, an accomplished rebounder and frontcourt leader for the Shiga Lakestars and Rizing Fukuoka in past bj-league seasons, is returning to Japan.
The University of Miami (Florida) product has finalized a deal to play for the Osaka Evessa this season, the Western Conference team announced on Friday.
In the 2011-12 season, Hamilton suited up for the Rizing and was the league's No. 2 rebounder (11.4 per game) and finished 10th overall in assists (3.8). And that's a rare combination for a power forward.
