The Tokyo Yakult Swallows have re-signed with outfielder Aaron Guiel to a two-year contract, the club said Friday.

The former New York Yankee will earn $1 million a year plus performance bonuses.

Guiel hit a team-leading 27 home runs to go with a .267 batting average and 80 RBIs in 128 games in 2009, his third season with the Swallows.
