NISHINOMIYA, Hyogo Pref. (Kyodo) Teikyo took advantage of severe control problems by Ichikawa pitchers Thursday as the Tokyo school advanced to the quarterfinals of the national high school invitational tournament with a 12-4 victory.
Teikyo scored nine runs in the second inning against the Hyogo prefecture school on four hits and six walks in second-round action at Koshien Stadium.
