Brazilian striker Nadson scored the only goal of the game Wednesday as South Korea's Suwon Bluewings beat Jubilo Iwata 1-0 to deal a severe blow to the J. League side's Asian Champions League campaign.

Nadson beat Iwata goalkeeper Yohei Sato with a clinical finish on the half hour shortly after missing a penalty at Yamaha Stadium and the Suwon defense held on to condemn the home side to its second loss in three matches in first-round Group E.

Suwon moved to seven points to draw level with China's Shenzhen Jianlibao, which crushed Hoang Anh Gia Lai of Vietnam 5-0 at home. Hoang Anh Gia Lai were left without a point.

In a Group F match, South Korean striker Ahn Jung Hwan struck first-half goals to lead J. League champions Yokohama F. Marinos to a 2-1 victory away at BEC Tero Sasana in Bangkok.

Ahn netted his first following a right-wing cross from Daisuke Oku in the 24th minute and doubled the lead for the visitors four minutes before halftime when he volleyed home a cross from Daisuke Nasu.

BEC Tero Sasana made it 2-1 on a goal from Panai Kongpraphun with 20 minutes left but failed to win their first point in their campaign.

F. Marinos have six points from three games following a 1-0 home loss to China's Shandong Luneng and 2-0 win away at Indonesian club PSM Makassar.
