OGAWA, Ibaraki Pref. (Kyodo) Tour veteran Toru Suzuki sizzled with an 8-under par 63 for the day's low round to take a three-stroke lead after the third round of the Acom International on Saturday.
Suzuki eagled the par-5 576-yard fifth hole and made seven birdies against one bogey, putting him at 13-under 200 at Ishioka Golf Club.
Overnight leader Paul Sheehan was alone in second at 10-under 203 after a round of 70.
Fudo four shots up
HIGASHI-HIROSHIMA, Hiroshima Pref. (Kyodo) Money leader Yuri Fudo shot a 3-under par 69 to take a four-shot lead over Taiwan's Lu Hsiao-chuan after the third round of the Japan Women's Open on Saturday.
Fudo, who began the day two shots off the lead, carded seven birdies and also had four bogeys to move to 3-under total of 213 at Hiroshima Country Club.
