MALMO, Sweden – Japanese teenage prodigy Ai Fukuhara cruised to a 4-0 win over Hungary’s Georgina Pota to claim the Under-21 women’s singles title at the Sweden Open on Saturday.
The 15-year-old Fukuhara, who saw off local favorite Frida Johanssson in the semis, never looked in any danger in the final as she outclassed Pota 11-6, 11-6, 11-3, 11-9.
