KOBE – Go Higaki aced the 11th hole as he sizzled with an 8-under-par 64 on Thursday for a share of a two-stroke lead with Katsumasa Miyamoto after the first round of the 120 million yen Munsingwear Open KSB Cup golf tournament.
The 31-year-old Higaki, seeking his second victory since joining the tour in 1994, carded six birdies on the front nine and used a 5-iron to score a hole-in-one on the par-3 11th over the 7,206-yard Rokko Kokusai Golf Club course, his first hole in one since joining the tour in 1994.
