An international judo team meet will take place in Osaka immediately after the end of the World Championships in September, Japanese organizers said Wednesday.

Host Japan will form one of eight teams, featuring men and women in five different weight divisions, and will compete for a 5 million yen first prize Sept. 15, one day after the end of the world meet.

The Judo World Championships will be held at Osakajo Hall on Sept. 11-14.
