The Yokohama BayStars learned once again that no lead is safe against the Yomiuri Giants.
Daisuke Motoki belted a two-run double and Hideki Matsui capped an eight-run outburst in the sixth inning with his 19th homer of the season as the Giants rallied to beat the BayStars 10-5 Wednesday night at the Tokyo Dome.
"Since I came in as a pinch-hitter, I was really hoping I could come through for the team, and things just worked out," said Motoki after the game.
