Japan, India and Australia are among the most-impacted countries when it comes to AI-accelerated ransomware, according to software firm CrowdStrike’s 2025 cybercrime report for Asia-Pacific released Tuesday.
Many of the attacks detailed in the report originate in China, using underground marketplaces that sell access and sensitive data to other cybercriminals.
