A certified nonprofit organization based in Tokyo’s Minato Ward is ramping up efforts this month to foster a better understanding of dyslexia in society as part of its Dyslexia Awareness Month campaign.
Edge (Japan Dyslexia Society) has lectures, training programs and free consultations available aimed at creating a better understanding of learning difficulties and expanding support in schools and communities nationwide.
“We want to realize a society where people with dyslexia can live vibrantly,” said Edge chair Eiko Todo, 72.
