A 22-year-old man, who was rearrested Tuesday on suspicion of trespassing in a government building where the health ministry is located using a fake Diet member pin, told police that he had entered other ministry buildings and the Diet, home to the nation's parliament, investigative sources said.
Kanato Fujimoto of Tokyo's Shinagawa Ward had been arrested last month and later indicted on charges of entering the Foreign Ministry on Aug. 24 with the pin on his suit. Police said he had admitted to the allegation, saying he "wanted to feel like a person in a high position."
