Mitsubishi Motors Corp. is mulling support measures, including compensation, for parts makers hit by the minicar plant suspension caused by the automaker’s fuel economy scandal, sources familiar with the matter said Monday.
Mitsubishi Motors halted production at its Mizushima plant in Okayama Prefecture after its prolonged effort to manipulate data to boost the fuel economy of four minicar models came to light on April 20.
