JCB Co. said Thursday a tieup with Prime Bank Ltd., a Bangladeshi commercial bank, allows JCB clients to use their credit cards at the bank's affiliated stores in the country.
Clients will eventually be able to use the cards at around 1,200 stores, including upscale hotels, restaurants and souvenir shops.
A growing number of foreign companies have been setting up business bases in Bangladesh, which has a population of 160 million, in recent years to cash in on expanding domestic demand there.
