Japan's largest farm lobby held a ceremony Thursday in Tokyo to mark the opening of its national conference, which is held every three years.
The JA group, including the Central Union of Agricultural Cooperatives, is set to adopt a special resolution opposing Japan's entry into the Trans-Pacific Partnership free-trade negotiations.
