Nikon Corp. said production has been suspended at its Thailand unit since Thursday after facilities were damaged by flooding.
The camera maker didn't give a time frame for resuming operations at the plant in the Rojana industrial park, according to a statement Tuesday to the Tokyo Stock Exchange.
Nikon is assessing the impact of the flooding on its earnings, the statement said.
