MATSUYAMA, Ehime Pref. (Kyodo) The Dalai Lama says he supports Prime Minister Yukio Hatoyama’s idea of creating an East Asian community.
“I support the idea of countries doing something together rather than separately,” the exiled Tibetan spiritual leader, who is on a nine-day visit to Japan that began last Friday, said at a news conference here Tuesday.
