Actor Manabu Oshio was arrested Monday on suspicion of using Ecstasy, police said.
Oshio, 31, tested positive for the synthetic drug, also known as MDMA, in a urine test conducted by police in connection with a woman who was found dead at an apartment in Tokyo's Roppongi district Sunday night.
The police questioned Oshio, who has starred in TV dramas and movies, on a voluntary basis Monday after it was learned he was with the woman, in her 30s, in the apartment before she died.
