BEIJING (Kyodo) Japanese and Chinese diplomats wrapped up two days of talks on gas field development Tuesday, agreeing only to study each other’s proposals for resolving the dispute over exploration rights in the East China Sea, Japanese delegates said.
Japan’s chief delegate, Kenichiro Sasae, said after the talks that China submitted a new proposal for resolving the row, which Japan agreed to study.
