NAHA, Okinawa Pref. (Kyodo) Skymark Airlines Co. will set its one-way fares for late-night flights between Tokyo's Haneda airport and Naha, Okinawa Prefecture, at 23,000 yen during peak season, the carrier said Monday.

The fare will drop to around 20,000 yen during off-peak periods, Skymark officials added.

Regular one-way fares on other carriers are around 36,000 yen.

Skymark will operate the late-night flights five times a week, excluding Tuesdays and Wednesdays, between July 1 and Sept. 12.

Skymark expects the flight out of Haneda to depart sometime between 10 and 11 p.m., with arrival at Naha around 1 a.m. The return flight will leave Naha sometime between 3 and 4 a.m. and arrive at Haneda before 6 a.m.
