Longtime diplomat Graham Fry will be Britain's next ambassador to Japan, it was announced Friday.
Fry, currently director general of economic affairs at the Foreign Office in London, will succeed Stephen Gomersall in July, the Foreign Office said. Gomersall will be retiring from the diplomatic service.
